BIO
Christina Alessi is a visual artist and musician in Morris County, New Jersey. Her work includes painting, illustration, collage, and fiber arts. Her pieces are often inspired by a love of nature and respect for its sustainability.
Christina has spent decades experimenting with mediums including embroidery, crocheting, knitting, and needle felting, and even paper-making. Christina was an early adopter of art journaling and considers it to be one of her most valuable tools. In addition to her lifelong pursuit of authentic creativity, Christina has taken art classes at Essex County College and the Montclair Art Museum, and has been studying with Marion Held since 2019.
Sharing the therapeutic benefits of art with others has been a lifelong passion. Christina has led creative workshops at the Montclair Adult School, Stevens Tech, with local Girl Scout troops, as well as privately.
